How this line works
This is a referral line. It is not a cleanup company, and it does not send anyone to your home itself.
Answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Three steps
- 1
You call
The line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A routing service checks your ZIP code.
- 2
You are connected
Your call goes through to an independent biohazard cleanup company that serves your area. That company pays for the referral.
- 3
You decide
Ask your questions. If you want to go ahead, you agree the work and the price with the company directly.
Questions worth asking the company
- Do you hold the business license and insurance this kind of work needs in Washington?
- How do you decide what has to be removed?
- How do you set the price, and will I get it in writing?
- How do you dispose of the waste?
- Will you photograph the work for my insurer or landlord?
- Can you use unmarked vehicles?
What this site does not do
It does not inspect homes, quote prices, handle insurance claims or vouch for the work. The companies are independent, and checking their license and insurance is up to you.
Whenever you are ready
You do not have to sort this out alone
Some families call the same evening. Others call after the service, or after talking with the landlord. Until then, keep the door to the room shut and leave the cleaning to people with the right protective gear.
Speak with a cleanup company
The call goes to an independent company that works in your ZIP code. Describe the room, ask how they would handle it and how they set the price. Nothing is agreed until you say so.
